Netflix price rises, Paramount+ and Peacock pay the price
On the same day this week we received a price increase notification from Netflix to $15.49/mo., I canceled Paramount+ and Peacock TV.
Here’s why:
- Netflix continues to provide great value with new shows and seasons that the whole family will watch.
- Yellowstone and 1883 have closed their seasons on Paramount+. No other, yes none, shows are even mildly attractive on CBS streaming.
- Peacock TV just stinks. I’m not sure why we ever subscribed. NBC streaming does not have an attractive show line-up.
The bottom line is, a streaming service must provide good value and continue to produce. If you want our money, stop taking months off from producing new shows and movies. Your old-school mentality won’t make it in our home NBC and CBS.
