I don’t have time for that (grrr)

I don’t know how many times each week I hear someone say, ‘I don’t have time to do that.‘ 😒

You don’t have time right now? Or you won’t have time ever? What does that actually mean?

Does it mean that you’re lazy? Or does it mean that anything someone else asks you is not important?

Let’s reset …

Is it a priority? Then get it done.

Is it a lower priority? Then get it done down the list.

Next steps …

An immediate ‘I don’t have time to do that‘ just tells me that you don’t see what I’ve asked will ever fit into your priority list.

I’ll move on and ask someone that has the drive to make it a priority (of some level). You missed out!
