Montréal in December is pure magic – snow-dusted streets, glowing Christmas villages, cozy cafés, incredible French food, and more holiday spirit than any one city should reasonably be allowed to have.
For Nicole’s birthday (and our anniversary!), we explored Montréal’s iconic Christmas scenes – from festive taverns and European-style cafés to Old Montréal’s historic charm and the twinkling Grand Marché de Noël. We sipped warm cider, braved winter lines, savored French breakfasts, rolled maple syrup in the snow, rode the holiday energy of the city, and wrapped it all in freshly fallen snow.
