Tonight I received an automated email from a contact that they were moving to another email host and had a new primary contact email address. No big deal, right?
Well … wrong, in this case.
The notification read something like this:
XXX@gmail.com has a new e-mail address.
Old E-mail Address: XXX@gmail.com
New E-mail Address: XXX@aol.com
I have switched my e-mail address from XXX@gmail.com to XXX@aol.com. Please be sure to update your Address Book and use my new e-mail address from now on.
WHAT? From Gmail to AOL Mail? Are you kidding? People still use AOL?
This one shocked me. Am I that out of touch? I don’t think so but what do you think?
