I would like to congratulate you on your appointment to the Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads Board. The transportation projects in Virginia are moving forward as well as constantly improving. I think that you would agree that our transportation network has greatly improved when our elected leaders and planners are all in sync and working in coordination.
As Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, I have traveled across our Commonwealth and have observed that our transportation needs are significant not only with our roads, but with rail, air, transit, ports, and space. I look forward to partnering with you as wee make our region stronger.
