1910 Kiddie Carousel @ Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard in Keswick Virginia

We stumbled on this cute little traveling merry-go-round while at Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard in Keswick Virginia.

I couldn’t help snapping a few photos knowing looking at them later would bring back a childhood smile.

This kiddie carousel, circa 1910, has been beautifully restored with 10 cast iron ponies, music, a hand crank, and an old bell.

This very rare carousel was once pulled by horses through the streets to give children rides. Think precursor to the ice cream man!
