Earlier today we were able to dodge the rain drops and get over to the Stockley Gardens Arts Festival. The neighborhood of Ghent was as beautiful as ever. And the art and artists were exceptional as usual.

Many thanks to the Hope House staff for your hard work in putting together the arts festival for such a wonderful cause.

Nicole and I are going with friends tonight to see It’s a Wonderful Life at the Naro Cinema in Ghent in Norfolk (VA). We love this movie.

We looked to try to catch It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story back-to-back but our schedules didn’t allow this year.

A Christmas Story is my favorite Christmas movie by far! I think it’s because I can relate to Ralphie from my childhood. And yes, I did have a Daisy Red Rider bb gun.
I will certainly catch the A Christmas Story 24-hour marathon on TNT on Christmas Eve.
